I was born on June 29th, 2005 in Mumbai, India. I couldn't speak a lick of any language at this age, but it does explain where I picked up my mother tongue: Marathi.

I was part of a vibrant household since day 1, where we didn't hold back when it came to celebrating. Every week felt fresh, surrounded by people I loved.

As I grew up, I started exploring different art forms. Be it painting, music, building, photography or even acting - I tried doing it all.

As time went on, I kept my artistic interests as just hobbies (HUGE mistake). It wasn't until high school junior year that I had made up my mind on what I wanted to do.

A leap of faith
Distance: ~4,000 mi / ~13,000 km
Time to travel: 25 hours (one way)
Going halfway across the world was definitely a scary experience. For the first 18 years of my life, I always lived in a familiar environment - a place I could speak all the languages.
I wanted to learn 'the language of design', in an environment that was completely new to me. It wasn't very often for me to learn a language, let alone strive to be fluent in it.

I am currently in Savannah College of Art and Design, pursuing my Bachelor's in User Experience Design.

I've joined FLUX, the UX club at SCAD. I love volunteering in any way possible and help out the community. I have found the most joy in FLUX's Mentorship Center, wherein my team and I help out students with technical skills as well as soft skills.
